(TSX: “ HBP ”, OTC PINK: “ HBPCF ”, FRANKFURT: “ HBP0 ”) (“ Helix ” or the “ Company ”), a clinical-stage oncology company shaping a near future where today's hard-to-treat cancers are vincible, announces that it has closed a non-brokered private placement (the “ Offering ”) of unsecured convertible debentures of the Company (each, a “ Convertible Debenture ”). The Company issued 3,673 Convertible Debentures for aggregate gross proceeds of C$3,673,000 pursuant to the Offering. The principal amount and any unpaid accrued interest of the Convertible Debentures will be due and payable 14 months from the closing date of the private placement (the “ Maturity Date ”). Each Convertible Debenture will bear interest at 25.00% per annum, calculated on a simple interest basis.
